First Place Tutors takes the welfare of every student seriously and operates under UK safeguarding guidance for children and young people.
Tutor vetting
Every tutor is DBS-checked, references are verified, and safeguarding training is completed before any lesson is taught.
Online lesson rules
Lessons are group-based, recorded, and visible to parents on request. Tutors do not contact students one-to-one outside the platform.
Reporting concerns
Email safeguarding@firstplacetutors.com. Urgent concerns about a child's safety should be reported to the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000 or your local authority.
Parental access
Parents may request access to any lesson recording, homework or tutor message involving their child at any time.
