1. Who we are

First Place Tutors is the data controller. Contact: info@firstplacetutors.com.

2. What we collect

Parent and student names, contact details, year group, current and target grades, learning goals, and (for members) lesson attendance, homework and progress data.

We do not collect payment card details directly, payments are processed by our payment provider.

3. Lawful basis

We process data on the basis of contract (delivering tuition), legitimate interests (lesson communications), and consent (marketing emails, withdrawable any time).

4. Sharing

We share data only with assigned tutors and processors (hosting, email, payments). We never sell data.

5. Retention

Account data is kept for the duration of membership plus 6 years for accounting. Lesson recordings are kept for 12 months unless deletion is requested.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to the ICO.

7. Children's data

For students under 18, data is processed on the basis of parental consent. See our Parental Consent Policy.
